No Peek Beef Tips
If you need a “dump and cook” meal, these steak tips are awesome! You may choose so many options, that this staple is a go-to. Serve on mashed or fried potatoes, pasta, as a “steak tip slider” … it’s up to you!
No Peek Beef Tips Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 4-6)
2 lbs. stew meat,
I can cream of mushroom soup
1 packet brown gravy,
1 envelope beefy onion soup mix
1 can of water
Directions
Step 1: Whisk together the dry and wet soups, water and gravy mix.
Step 2: In a well, greased 9’”X13” pan, lay out the beef tips.
Step 3: Cover the beef tips with the mixture and cover in foil.
Step 4: Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. No peeking! Meat is super tender and delicious.
Step 5: Serve however you choose with fried or mashed potatoes, pasta, on toasted bread for a version of “sh*t on a shingle” or as sliders.
*Optional: To elevate the sauce, substitute 1/2 a can of red wine with 1/2 a can of water and some pearl onions for a beurre blanc. Or go Irish with Guinness!
