Easy Garlic Knots
In my experience, garlic knots and garlic bread from the store have little to no flavor. You can EASILY make your own that are way better!
Garlic Knots Recipe
Ingredients (Makes 16 knots)
1 16-ounce canned biscuits
5 tablespoons butter - melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
4 tablespoons Parmesan - grated
2 tablespoons Parmesan - shredded (optional)
Directions
Step 1: Set oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly coat with cooking spray and set aside.
Step 2: Remove biscuits from container and cut in half. Lightly flour your work space and roll each half out to about 5-6 inches.
Step 3: Tie a knot in the middle of each strip, tuck ends under to form a ball and place on baking sheet.
Step 4: In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and 3 tablespoons of Parmesan. Set aside 1/4 of garlic butter. Brush each knot with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese (optional - shown here).
Step 5: Place in oven and bake for 16-18 minutes until bread is golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with remaining garlic butter. Serve immediately.
